In order to create such a device for mounting an implement on equidistant support girders (10) of a workroom floor with at least one guide rail (16 or 18) which is fastened on the girders, permits simple assembly of the rail(s) on the spot on the girders and enables the rail arrangement to be changed at any time with regard to the girders, clamping devices (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 20) are proposed which belong to the, if need be indirect, connection between the rail(s) and the girders and are each displaceably attached to both the allocated girder and the rail or their support in the longitudinal direction of the girder or the rail (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
