<p>PURPOSE:To attain a high speed retrieval by disconnecting a pinch roller from a capstan when a loading ring is at the 2nd turning position and running a magnetic tape in high speed while being opposed to a fixed magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A loading ring 4 is turned slightly counter clockwise by the operation of high speed running such as fast feeding or rewinding, a roller 33 is depressed by the loading ring 4, a lever 31 is turned clockwise against the energizing force of a spring 34 and a microswitch 35 is turned on. When a recess 27 comes to a position opposed to a lever 22, a microswitch 21 is turned off and the loading ring 4 is stopped at this position and locked. In such a case, a magnetic tape 2 is kept wound onto a rotary drum 3 and opposed to fixed magnetic heads 9-11, then a queue signal or the like recorded on a queue track or the like is detected. Thus, the high speed feeding or the high speed retrieval of a magnetic tape is realized with a simple structure.</p> |
