PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer having high thermal stability, by feeding trioxane, a cyclic ether, a catalyst and a solvent through the first feeding port to a reactor furnished with raw-material feeding ports and product delivery port, feeding one or more kinds of the above components through the second feeding port, and polymerizing the monomers. CONSTITUTION:Trioxane is copolymerized with a cyclic ether containing the bond of formula -Cn-O- (n>=2) using a Lewis acid as a catalyst. The copolymerization is carried out by using a polymerizer furnished with the raw- material feeding ports 1, 2 and the product delivery port 3. The polymerizer has >=2 separate raw-material feeding ports. The first feeding port 1 positioned at an end of the reactor opposite to the delivery port is supplied with a mixture of trioxane, cyclic ether, Lewis acid and polymerization solvent and the second and the following feeding ports 2 placed between the first feeding port 1 and the delivery port 3 are supplied with at least one kind of the above components. The supplied monomers are copolymerized with each other to obtain the objective copolymer.
