PURPOSE:To easily obtain purified oil containing almost no moisture from oil containing moisture having an inorg. salt dissolved therein, by evaporating a part of moisture from the above-mentioned oil before treating said oil by a centrifugal separator. CONSTITUTION:In separating and removing moisture from oil containing moisture having an inorg. salt dissolved therein by a separation plate type centrifugal separator, an adequate amount of moisture is preliminarily evaporated by a moisture evaporator 3 such as a vacuum evaporation boiler to concentrate the inorg. salt in moisture and the specific gravity difference between oil and moisture is made large to facilitate separation. When moisture is finely divided by evaporation operation, a method for electrostatically flocculate moisture by an electric field charging apparatus 6 is used in combination. As a result, purified oil containing almost no moisture can be easily obtained from oil containing moisture having an inorg. salt dissolved therein. |
