PURPOSE:To adjust send-out timing by adjustment means in accordance with deviation in dot data reading timing and to obtain a clear image by detecting the deviation from write signals of the dot data from picture information reading means, and reading signals from a color printer. CONSTITUTION:The original is read for each color component as dot data by a card reader 1 of a color image duplicating system and the dot data (a) and the write signal (c) are sent out to a line buffer memory 2. A read signal (d) is sent from a digital color printer 3 to the memory 2 while picture data (b) are inputted from the memory 2 to the printer 3. The deviation in the reading timing of the dot signals is sensed by sensing means 4 by the signal (c) from reader 1 for this memory 2 and the signal (d) from the printer 3. The adjustment means 5 is controlled depending on the timing deviation sensed at the means 4 to adjust the timing of the signal (a) of the reader 1.
