PURPOSE:To prevent a color deviation from being caused by a temperature rise, by providing four-pole, six-pole and two-pole metal-containing composite magnets for a convergence device for an inline color cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:A convergence device 5 for an inline color cathode-ray tube is made of four-pole and six-pole static magnets 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b and two-pole purity magnets 8a, 8b which are mounted on the neck of the tube so that the magnets can be turned for adjustment. The magnets are metal-containing composite magnets such as Alnico, which are not made of barium ferrite and whose absolute value of temperature coefficient is 0.05%/ deg.C or less. The temperature coefficient of each of the magnets is thus reduced to greatly diminish a color deviation resulting from a temperature rise when electron beams emitted from three electron guns are caused to converge on a point on a faceplate.
