PURPOSE:A drink from which potassium is removed, suitable for person having a defect of renal function, obtained by desalting a raw material of drink. CONSTITUTION:A raw material of drink such as juice, coffee, tea, milk, etc., is desalted by ion exchange electrodialysis, ion exchange resin treatment, reverse osmosis membrane, etc., so the potassium concentration is reduced to <=1/10. Removal of potassium can be carried out without damaging taste, flavor, appear ance, etc., of the drink itself by this method. |
