PURPOSE:To enable a mark of a printed matter remaining on a mesh of a screen to be removed to achieve low-cost, by a method wherein the screen is slid by being held between upper and lower squeegees. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 50 loading a printed matter is so transferred as to be removed from the position under a screen 30. The screen 30 is slid in the direction of arrows shown by full lines with being held between a first upper squeegee 16 and a first lower squeegee 27. After the first upper squeegee 16 is moved upward as well as the first lower squeegee 27 downward, a second upper squeegee 17 is moved downward as well as a second lower squeegee 28 upward to hold the screen 30 therebetween when the screen 30 is slid in the direction of arrows as shown by broken lines, thus resulting in removal of a mark of a printed matter remaining on the screen 30 after a printing process is finished. Accordingly, the mark of the printed matter remaining on the mesh of the screen can be removed by sliding the squeegees not by employing a paper, thereby enabling low-cost and substantial improvement of operational efficiency.
