PURPOSE:To make it possible to freely perform the changing-over to a desired recording mode at the time of test recording operation, by providing a means for performing the changing-over of various recording modes. CONSTITUTION:A switch 2 is connected to MPU 1 for controlling the entire operation of a recording apparatus and MPU 1 is connected to a recording part 3 through a data bus. The recording part 3 performs recording paper 4 according to an ink jet system, a wire dot system, an impact system or a thermal transfer system. In the above mentioned constitution, the switch 2 is constituted of the push switch provided to the main body of the recording apparatus. By operating the switch 2, the possible test recording mode of the recording part 3 can be changed over and an operator looks the result recorded on recording paper 4 to make it possible to check the operational state of the recording paper 3. |
