PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise by excessive torque, the heat generation of a circuit element and the wasteful consumption of power, by operating a pulse driving type electromotor for moving a printing head to a predetermined direction so as to respond to a limited drive pulse. CONSTITUTION:A printer apparatus is equipped with a control signal generation circuit 1, a phase change-over control circuit 2 as a rive pulse signal generation means, a chopper signal generation circuit 3 as a rive pulse signal generation means, a gate circuit 4, a driver circuit 5 and a pulse driving type electrometer 6. The control signal generation circuit 1 generates not only the moving speed signal SP of a printing head but also various control signals corresponding to the printing order from a computer. By this method, the pulse drive signal applied to the printing head driving electromotor 6 is limited corresponding to the moving speed of the printing head so that a drive pulse is limited still more especially at the time of a low speed. |
