PURPOSE:To improve operability by providing the 1st print mode of a processing means with a printing function which prints out print data on a printing means successively in response to the determination of input data. CONSTITUTION:Three print modes, i.e. normal print mode, successive print mode, and typewriter mode are specified by an operation part 10. When a character which urges determination like an English letter, space character, or carriage return, but is not an object of conversion is inputted in the typewriter mode, the character is printed on its input. In the typewriter mode, a head is moved to an optional position on a form by space input and carriage return input and printing operation can be started at the position.
