PURPOSE:To attain uniform share of traffic to a communication control section by a central controller or the accommodation of line connection section up to the full processing capability of each control section by constituting the communication control section separately into a call or calling will detecting communication control section and data transmission reception control communication control section. CONSTITUTION:A call detection communication control section 10 supervises always data terminal devices not subject to calling through subscriber lines 81, 82...8m and when the section 10 detects a call or a calling with from the terminal device, the section 10 informs a line connection section number through a channel interface section to a central controller 4. The controller 4 stores the line speed information of a data terminal device and plural communication control sections manage number and speed of the line connection section under control and gives a command to accommodate and control the line connection section to a communication control section having a margin to the processing capability. The communi cation control section receiving the command fetches the line connection section via bus 5 to apply transmission/reception control of data. When the communication is finished, the communication control section reports the end of communication to the central controller 4 and disconnects the control of the line control section.
