PURPOSE:To effectively catch a solar heat energy, and to afford a sensible heat storage function to supplement intermittence of solar radiation so as to reduce pressure loss in pneumatic conveyance by inserting transparent tubes sealed with solid heat storage materials having a large volumetric specific heat into the central parts of transparent special formed pipes of a star shape in section to constitute heat collecting and storing bodies, providing in parallel a large number of these heat collecting and storing bodies in transparent outer tubes of a substantially square shape, partitioning parallelly provided layers of the heat collecting and storing bodies by transparent plates, and laminating and filling these layers in a plurality of stages. CONSTITUTION:Heat collecting and storing bodies 10 are formed by filling and sealing solid heat storage materials 15 having a large volumetric specific heat in glass transparent tubes 14, and inserting them into the central portions of glass transparent special formed tubes having a star shape in section. The heat collecting and storing bodies 10 are provided in parallel and laminated within a transparent glass outer tube 11 of a substantially square shape in the same axial direction to forma single collector. Further, a required number of the collectors are bonded together and are used by integrally forming with coves 17 and 18 having blast ports 19 and 20 at inlets and outlets. To the bottom part of the outer tube 11 of a square shape in section is applied black painting or the bottom part thereof is encircled by a heat insulator thereby to improve the heat collecting efficiency.
