PURPOSE:To put limitations on packaging so as not to cause overlapping to prevent redundant packaging of remote equipments and to prevent leaving the overlapping packaging unattended by providing the respective remote equipments and office equipments with means for monitoring the packaging state of the subscriber circuits and detecting and displaying the overlapped packaging. CONSTITUTION:Each remote equipment control part 801 monitors the subscriber state periodically and, when a subscriber makes a call, the control part detects the change and loads it to a transmission cue in a remote equipment memory 802 in order to inform office equipments 4 of the subscriber containing position and the status following the change. The transmission of control information between the office equipment 4 and the respective remote devices 8-1-8-n is effected by using signal time slot 16 of the PCM channel system and the using the normal response mode of the known high level data link control procedure. That is, the office equipment 4 sends commands to one of the remote equipments 8-1, 8-2...8-n in order or as required and only this remote equipment is able to send the information to it as the response.
