摘要 Upgrading of 600 deg.F + residual oils contg. metals is effected by (a) contacting the residual oil with a catalyst comprising 20-80 (pref. 30-50) wt.% ultra stable faujasite zeolite dispersed in a silica-clay matrix at a temp. and for a time particularly selective for conversion of the feed to gasoline, light cycle oil (LCO) and gasoline-forming gaseous components, and (b) recovering gasoline and LCO. - Catalysts of the above type give high gasoline and LCO yields with low coke prodn. and are capable of withstanding high regeneration temp.
