<p>The prenilamine salt of 1,2,3,6-tetrahydro 1,3-dimethyl 2,6-dioxo purine 7-acetic acid is made by reacting prenilamine base of formula (II) with the above acid of formula (III). The reaction is carried out in an inert organic solvent, e.g. methanol, under reflux, and the reaction mixt. treated with active carbon, filtered and cooled to -50 deg.C. - The ppte. is filtered off and dried under reduced pressure.</p> |
