<p>PURPOSE:To simplify structure and to enable uniform shut off of a water flow, by providing an annular deflector which is actuated integrally with a piston. CONSTITUTION:When a main machine is brought to a stop due to a sudden change in a load and a trouble on devices, a stop signal is transmitted to an electric motor 14 through an operation control device 15. The built-in brake of the electric motor 14 is released, and water flow shut off device 12 is lowered through energization in a closing direction of a compressed spring 11. A deflector 9, with which the water flow shut off device 12 is formed, shuts off rotation energy, fed to a runner 2 after flowing across a water flow injected through a nozzle 3, to stop rotation. Thus, the deflector 9 is formed to annular structure having high rigidity, and a water flow can be shut off uniformly on a periphery, and this prevents production of an unbalance force exerted on a runner. Further, since the deflector 9 is actuated in a state to be secured integrally to a piston 8, a deflector device can be simplified.</p> |
