PURPOSE:To facilitate sticking of cloth to a tooth portion without uncovered space and overlapping by impregnating cloth in binder solution and drying it to be hardened in a shape almost coincident with the tooth portion of a timing belt. CONSTITUTION:Cloth 1 made of nylon fabric with 270g per unit area, and expansion ratio of 20% is impregnated in binder solution and the cloth is pinched in almost the same shape of the tooth 3 of a belt 2 and molded and dried. A fusing machine made of an upper die 4 and a lower die 5 is heated until polyurethane rubber which is a raw material of belt body is softened. As binding agent, polyurethane group binder is used and as solvent, methyl-ethyl ketone is used. Thus, cloth is not overlapped on the binding portion and uncovered space is not given, and ideal sticking without wrinkle can be realized. |
