PURPOSE:To realize a speedy detection of position of a feeding sheet of corrugated cardboard, by furnishing an arithmatic unit to compute the inclination of a corrugated cardboard sheet, from the time differences of passing signals of the sheet detected by plural acoustic detecting pickups. CONSTITUTION:Time differences of passing signals of a corrugated cardboard sheet 1a detected by plural acoustic detecting pickups 14 which are arranged about square to the feeding direction, and a feeding signal of the sheet 1a from a feeding signal transmitter are input to an arithmatic unit 16. In this arithmatic unit 16, the declination angle of the feeding corrugated cardboard sheet 1a is computed by dividing the product of the time difference and the feeding speed signal by the value of a position interval between the responding acoustic detecting pickups 14, to detect the position of the sheet 1a.
