PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the occupied area of installation floor surface by providing a tray delivery apparatus comprising a tray storing portion having plural stages of support portions disposed vertically, which are capable of freely putting in and out, and supporting trays for placing a product, a tray outlet/inlet portion and a control portion. CONSTITUTION:A working station 4 of a product working portion 3 is located at a designated height (h) vertically above the floor surface. Products 6 to be stored in a tray 5 supplied from a tray delivery apparatus 1 are sequentially taken up by a robot arm 2 to be supplied to the working station 4. The apparatus mainly comprises a tray storing portion 8, a tray outlet/inlet portion 9, a tray supply portion 10 and a control portion 11. The storing portion 8 includes plural stages of support portions 13 disposed vertically, which are capable of freely putting in and out and supporting the trays 5. At the tray inlet/outlet portion 9, an elevating member 14 comprising a transfer device 20 for taking out a tray from the support portions 13 and a retaining portion 21 for placing a tray taken out from the support portions 13 is freely vertically moved through a driving device 15. Further, the elevating member 14 is controlled to start and stop by the control portion 11. |
