PURPOSE:To make assembling, repairing and inspecting easy by clamping a disk by rotation of a clamper and rotation of a mechanical chassis provided with a spindle motor and rotating the end of the mechanical chassis by elevating force of an elevating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An end of a mechanical chassis 20 is attached pivotally to the top of a holder 12 with a pivot 21 and made rotatable around the pivoted point along a vertical plane within a proper limit. A spindle motor 22 for rotating a disk D is mounted near the free end (rotating end) of the mechanical chassis, and a table 23 on which the disk D is placed is attached to the spindle 22a. An elevating arm 24 having a long hole 24a is projected from the rotating end of the mechanical chassis 20, and rotational driving force of an elevating mechanism 30 is converted to linear movement and transmitted. The disk D mounted on the table 23 is clammed by descent of a clamper arm 41 by rotational movement from upper side and rotation of the mechanical chassis 20 from lower side.
