PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a generating set, by detecting suction temperature, exhaust temperature, and load quantity of a generator under operation, and by discriminating the lowered performance of the generator cooling system in an arithmetic processor in an initial step. CONSTITUTION:The suction temperature and the exhaust temperature of a generator 1 with cooling system are detected by a temperature detecting means 101, and the load quantity of the generator 1 is detected by a load quantity detecting means 102. Based on the output signal of the load quantity detecting means 102, by a temperature rise reference arithmetic operation means 103, a temperature rise reference value on the exhaust side from the viewpoint of the suction side of the cooling system, corresponding to the load quantity is computed. By a comparing means 104, based on the output signal of the temperature detecting means 101, a deviation between the actual suction temperature and exhaust temperature is computed and is compared with the temperature rise reference value. Also, the output result of the comparing means 104 is indicated on an indicating means 105. |
