PURPOSE:To make a momentous alarm so as to be surely given to a drive as more effective than in case of lamps, by installing a self-diagnostic trouble detecting part and a trouble detail coding part for car-mounted electric equipment and a trouble sound generating part, while coding the detected trouble detail, and informing the driver of it. CONSTITUTION:Every part of a car, for example, state detecting signals ranging from headlight state detectors 11 to 1n are collected to a self-diagnostic trouble detecting part 1, and these signal are processed and judged hereat, then a part, for example, a headlight state indicator 21 or the like is displayed on a driver's seat display panel. And, specially important signals, for example, of headlight disconnection detection, engine temperature trouble detection, etc., are transmitted to a trouble detail coding part 3, and according to the trouble details, for example, an alarm signal of a coded sound consisting of a combination of both short and long sounds is transmitted to a trouble sound generating part 4 whereby an alarm corresponding to these trouble details is emitted out of a buzzer or the like. Therefore, a driver is aware of the trouble immediately and the takes proper action to the trouble, thus any trouble is preventable before it happens.
