PURPOSE:To obtain a one-pack cure resin capable of being polymerized in a short time by heat radical polymerization, by incorporating a specific urethane acrylate, a monofunctional or polyfunctional compound having a polymerizable double bond and a polymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:A resin for sealant comprising a urethane acrylate resin (A) prepared by reacting a polycaprolactone polyol having a molecular weight of 500-5,000, a diisocyanate compound and an acrylic or methacrylic ester having a hydroxyl group, a monofunctional compound (B) having a polymerizable double bond and a polymerization initiator. The weight ratio of (A) to (B) is generally 10/90-90/10. A general sealant composition containing the above resin comprises 30-60pts.wt. resin for sealant, 10-30pts.wt. plasticizer and 20-40pts.wt. inorganic filler.
