PURPOSE:To facilitate compressed air supply to pneumatic tools by coupling the in-yard compressed air supply hose to the inboard fire extinguishing tube system in the hull under construction while coupling a tube joint having plural branch headers to the fire hydrant section in respective partition in the vessel. CONSTITUTION:In a hull under construction where the sea water is not yet fed to the inboard fire extinguishing tube system, a pressure-resistant hose B for feeding the inyard compressed air is coupled to the inboard fire extinguishing tube system. The valves 12, 13 of the conduit for respective pump 23, 24 are closed to couple the dismountable tube joints to the fire hydrant sections 1-8 arranged in respective partition in board. Said coupling is provided with plural branch headers to be coupled to the pneumatic tools to be used for various building works in board. Consequently, compressed air supply to various pneumatic tools can be facilitated through utilization of the inboard fire extinguishing tube system in the vessel under construction without requiring independent supply tube system.
