The invention relates to a sheet-metal housing for a switching installation, consisting of a baseplate (which can be mounted on a wall) and of a covering cap. The side parts of the covering cap engage over the edge of the baseplate on which contact springs are mounted, which contact springs make contact with the side parts. Located on the baseplate are spacer elements to which a printed-circuit board is firmly screwed whose earth surface makes contact with the housing via the spacer bolts.
