In the machine for producing curtain strips from webs of a flexible material, transport takes place by means of belts which circulate in pairs and guide the web (2) and the strip (6) standing on the edge and along its entire length behind the processing tools and whose sides which clamp the strip (6) between them are movable transversely to the strip as far as a distance from one another which permits the ejection of the strip (6). Ejectors consisting of roller pairs (15, 16) are provided below the circulating belts (7, 8), which ejectors pull the strip downwards during ejection so that it falls onto a collecting surface (18) which is made of translucent material and arranged inclined in front of a light source (19). <IMAGE>
