Two straight pipes (2), which form part of a conveying channel (8) of a pipe system for the hydraulic transport of capsules, are connected to each other at their ends by deflection arcs (1). These deflection arcs (1) are of two-part design and consist of a pressure-tight covering hood (7) and a guide insert (4) which is clamped by means of the insertion screws (13) between the flange (6) of the covering hood (7) and the flanges (5) of the two straight pipes (2). In order to obtain leak-tightness against the pressure of liquid, seals (not shown) are situated on both sides of the retaining plate (15) of the guide insert (4). <IMAGE>
