The invention relates to a control valve (1) for a fluid-pressure cylinder (42, 43) with a piston (48, 54) which can be pressurised from both sides. The intention is, with such a control valve (1), to achieve overlap-free control, particularly of two coupled fluid-pressure cylinders (42, 43), at the reversal points. For this purpose, the control valve has a rotary slide (6) or rotary-slide arrangement mounted on a slide shaft (9), by means of which the fluid inlet (18) and fluid outlet (19) are connected to corresponding connections (12r, 12l) for the two sides of the pressure cylinder, without shutting off the said fluid inlet (18) and fluid outlet (19) of the control valve (1). The control valve is preferably designed as a double control valve (1b), by means of which two fluid-pressure cylinders (42, 43) are controlled synchronously and without overlap. The slides or slide arrangements (6-1, 6-2) of the double control valve (1b) are mounted on a common slide shaft (9b). <IMAGE>
