PURPOSE:To make pressing force of a spring alterable by fuel temperature or the like as well as to prevent the occurrence of vapor in fuel, by forming the spring, which works the pressing force to a diaphragm partitioning a fuel chamber and a back pressure chamber to the fuel chamber side, with a bimetal. CONSTITUTION:A pressure regulating valve 5 regulates pressure inside a back pressure chamber 504, setting pressure to be set by set load (pressing force) of a spring 506 against a pressure receiving area of a diaphragm 503 and pressure of fuel inside a fuel chamber 505 and fuel flowing in this fuel chamber 505, namely, fuel to be fed to a fuel injection valve 4. In this case, the spring 506 installed in the back pressure chamber 504 is formed by a bimetal whereby its characteristic is set so as to expand its free length in proportion as fuel temperature or temperature inside the back pressure chamber 504 goes up. With this constitution, if engine temperature goes up and the fuel temperature rises, pressing force of the spring 506 is increased, thus setting pressure to fuel is heightened. |
