<p>A method for the sheet apex cultivation of the palmate leaf rhubarb is described in which the shoot-formation and the propagation are carried out in a medium contg. benzyl adenine (1) or its nucleoside and naphthalene acetic acid (II) or beta-indole acetic acid (III) and then the shoot-formation is carred out in a medium cong. only either of (II) and (III) as the growth hormone. The method gives a uniform seedling, an ideal maintenance of the species and stable gain of the useful medical substance. In an example, the growing point is taken out of the growing root top of hokkai rhubarb of rheum palmatum species by Walkey et al's method.</p> |
