In a compressor with a mechanism for reducing pulsating pressure variations, with a large number of pistons (3) which carry out reciprocating movements in cylinder bores (2), a coincidence of pulsating variations of the suction pressure is prevented and the pulsating pressure variations are safely reduced by a cylinder head (5) being divided into a first low-pressure part chamber (15a), a second low-pressure part chamber (15b) and a high-pressure chamber (16), the first low-pressure part chamber (15a) being connected to a suction passage (19) formed on the cylinder head (5), the second low-pressure part chamber (15b) being connected to a large number of suction openings (8) formed in the valve plate (4), and both low-pressure part chambers (15a, 15b) being interconnected via a suction connection opening (20) and each of the suction connection openings (20) being arranged or formed at equal distances from in each case two suction openings (8). <IMAGE> |
