PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of oil separation by providing an oil separating plate, in the center of which the tip of an ejection pipe communicating with a refrigerating cycle is inserted, in the upper part of a rotor and also providing, on said separating plate, an opening formed on the face orthogonal to the direction of rotation of said plate and guide grooves following the opening. CONSTITUTION:In the upper part of a motor rotor 6 of an enclosed type compressor, an oil separating plate 7 is provided in such a manner as an appropriate gap is maintained between the upper end of said rotor and said plate 7. A venthole 7a, into which the tip of an ejection pipe 4 communicating with a refrigerating cycle is inserted, is formed in the center of the oil separating plate 7. Further, on said plate 7, an opening 15a is formed on the face orthogonal to the direction of rotation of said plate and slant guide grooves 15 following said opening 15a are also formed. Due to this structure, oil contained in ejected gas is efficiently separated by the oil separating plate 7 and efficiency of heat exchange of the refrigerating cycle can be improved.
