A cupboard, which is provided as a whole with the reference number (10), is provided with a four-wing folding door (11). The two central door wings (13 and 14) are articulated on a central upright (16) and interconnected via a synchronous drive. The two outer door wings (12 and 15) are in each case articulated on outer uprights (17 and 18). Both the central upright (16) and the outer uprights (17 and 18) are guided horizontally displaceably so that the entire folding door (11) can be displaced in the direction of the double arrow drawn in in Fig. 2. As a result, every region of the cupboard (10) can be made freely accessible.
