The aim of the invention is, in the case of a cavity floor, to be able, subsequently, further to subdivide the cavity present between the top and bottom surfaces of the floor into cavities which are separate from one another. In order to achieve this, according to the invention an at least temporarily flexible material strand which can be compressed or expanded is introduced into the cavity along the dividing line, predetermined on the bottom surface of the floor, and bears against the top and bottom surfaces of the floor.
