The invention discloses a process for the introduction of thin-walled sealing elements into already hardened diaphragm walls. To this end, a thin suspension-supported slot is produced in the diaphragm wall composition, into which slot the sealing elements are inserted. After insertion of the sealing elements the suspension, to which specific setting agents were previously added, hardens.
