PURPOSE:To prevent heat and vapor generated by a fixing device from causing dew condensation and contamination in an exposure optical system and to perform excellent image formation by limiting the entry of said heat and vapor into the exposure optical system. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd air discharge fan 124 which discharges air toward an exhaust port 12 formed in the bottom surface of a copying machine body 1 is arranged at the bottom part in the copying machine body 1 and a filter 125 is provided between a fixing device 23 and the exposure optical system 14. A limiting means 26 is constituted to limit the entry of the heat generated by the heater lamp 93, etc., of the fixing device 23 and the vapor of silicone for offset prevention applied to a fixing roller 23a into the exposure optical system 14. Consequently, neither of the heat generated by the fixing device 23 not silicone vapor for offset prevention flows in the exposure optical system 14 to eliminate dew condensation on mirrors 27-30, a lens 31, etc., of the exposure optical system 14 and prevent them from being stained with the silicone vapor. |
