PURPOSE:To increase a program executing speed by constituting a titled system so that an instruction for shunting and recovering a vector mask register is not generated, in case when the vector mask register which is used by an object program and a built-in procedure is not overlapped. CONSTITUTION:A comparing part 25 retrieves a built-in procedure vector mask register table 24 and fetches an address of a vector mask register required by a quoted built-in procedure, and compares it with an address of the vector mask register which must save the contents at the time of a quotation of the built-in procedure, based on an execution time vector mask register use state record 23. An object code generating part 26 generates an instruction for shunting the contents of the vector mask register immediately before an instruction 32 for calling the built-in procedure, only in case when it is necessary to shunt the contents of the vector mask register, based on a notice from the comparing part 25, and also generated an instruction for recovering the contents of the vector mask register which has been shunted immediately after the instruction train 32. |
