PURPOSE:A wine-containing Cologne, obtained by adding a wine having reduced acidity to Cologne, capable of giving wetting or humectant properties to the skin and enhancing the beautifying effect, having good feeling in use and rich in naturality. CONSTITUTION:A wine-containing cologne, obtained by adding a wine prepared by adding preferably about 10-25g, based on 1l wine, calcium salt, e.g. calcium carbonate, thereto, and filtering precipitates, and having the acidity thereof preferably reduced to almost the same (about 5.0-6.0pH) as that of a Cologne, e.g. eau de Cologne or eau de toilette, thereto, capable of producing the above- mentioned effect of mono--oligosaccharide, various amino acids, peptides, etc., having improved effect such as masking the irritant smell of ethanol by the fermented smell unique to the wine, well harmonizing with the compound perfume to give mellow fragrance and acting as a sun screen in use with rose wine, etc.
