PURPOSE:To obtain a single virtual storage space system without changing a conventional conversion table, by providing a means for discriminating plural virtual spaces, processing them integrally and converting them to a physical space. CONSTITUTION:In case when it is judged to be an extended virtual address mode by deciding the L flag 41 of a PSW, a control register 31 for showing a conversion table address obtains an SPT entry address by adding the SPT 52 of a virtual address to an SPT address. In the SPT entry, an ST address being the conversion table address is stored, therefore, the ST entry is derived by adding the SI of the virtual address to the ST address, the PT address stored in the ST entry is fetched, and the PI of the virtual address is added. Accordingly, a PT entry is derived, and a real page address stored in the PT entry can be obtained. An object read address 11 can be obtained by adding a BI being an in-page byte index, to the real page address.
