PURPOSE:To obtain a method for forming a multicolor relief image by exposing the same original at least twice, developing respective latent images formed on a photosensitive body with developers of different colors, and transferring obtained respective color toner images to the same surface of the same transfer paper so that the color toner images shift from one another by a specific quantity. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum 1 by the 1st original exposure is developed by a red developing device 2, the red toner image is transferred to transfer paper 7 fed out of a paper feed cassette 6 and fixed, and the paper is discharged onto a discharge tray 9. Then, an original 5 on contact glass 4 is shifted longitudinally or/and laterally by a specific relief extent and fixed with a pressure plate. The transfer paper discharged onto the discharge tray 9 is taken and inserted manually from a manual insertion table 10 for the 2nd original exposure, a formed image is developed by a black developing device 3 and transferred onto the transfer paper 7 and fixed, and the paper is discharged. Consequently, both images of red and black are transferred onto the transfer paper 7 while shifted by the specific extent, thereby obtaining a relief image. Thus, a relief which is seen as it characters were formed by cutting a thick plate having a black top surface and red flanks is easily formed. |
