PURPOSE:To automatize spring attaching work by narrowing the gap between a pair of spring detaining parts and extending this gap to fix a spring after detaining both ends of the spring. CONSTITUTION:When a front end 18a of an engaging part 18 of the first detaining member 13 is brought into contact with a fixed arm 33 of the second detaining member 14, a distance l1 between a pair of spring detaining parts 16a and 16b is equal to a short distance between both hooks 12a and 12b of a spring 12, and therefore, hooks 12a and 12b in both ends of the spring 12 are detained easily in a pair of spring detaining parts 16a and 16b by an automatic machine without pulling the spring 12 to give a stress to the spring. Next, a moving member 9 is fitted onto a guide rib 20b of a lower half 3 from above by an upper guide groove 24 and its projection 25 is inserted between surfaces 14a and 15a facing each other of the second detaining member 14 and the third detaining member 15, and it is fixed from above by plural screws 8, thus assembling a cartridge 4.
