PURPOSE:To attain always proper abutting between a magnetic sheet and a magnetic head by moving the magnetic head to the outside of plural tracks at the eject time. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 2 is placed on an unused area of a magnetic sheet, and thereby, the magnetic sheet 1 is not deformed in used areas, and stable contacting between the magnetic head 2 and the magnetic sheet 1 is always attained in used areas of the magnetic sheet 1. When the magnetic head 2 is moved during rotation of the magnetic sheet 1, the magnetic sheet 1 is not damaged at all because the magnetic head 2 is moved in the good abutting state. If the position of a detector 11 is defined as a reference track position, the magnetic head 2 is moved inward on the outside of the outermost track and is moved outward again to stop the magnetic head 2 in the reference track position by the signal of the detector 11 when the magnetic sheet 1 is set to a device newly. Thus, track traversing and the track position are controlled easily. |
