PURPOSE:To measure the nuclear species of the substance in the waste container and the three-dimensional distribution and to energy-save the automatic seed classification by obtaining a radial rays absorbing coefficient distribution of the measured body and a radial rays counting ratio distribution of the radial rays released from the measuring body itself and obtaining the radioactivity distribution in accordance with the prescribed formula. CONSTITUTION:A radial rays detecting device 2 of the radioactivity distribution measuring instrument is arranged in a gantry 1 so that the outer shape of a radioactivity waste container 9 can be surrounded. At the gantry 1, an external reference line storing container 3 is shiftably arranged to a rail 4 by an external line source storing container driving control device 5. The container 9 is fixed to a fixing stand 7, and the container 9 is scanned at the optional interval in the upward and downward directions and in the rotating direction by an elevating rotating control device 8. By the detecting device 2, a radial rays absorbing coefficient Rij of the measuring body from the container 9 and a radial rays counting ratio Ci of the radial rays released from the measuring body itself are obtained, a radioactivity distribution Aj is obtained by Ci=SIGMARij.Aj, and the nuclear species of the substance in the container 9 and the three-dimensional distribution are measured. |
