PURPOSE:To form the laminating construction of the light sensor and a displaying device and to obtain an optimum external input means such as an electronic watch and a small-sized electronic computer by providing a light- transmitting type displaying device at the front surface of the optical sensor. CONSTITUTION:A light transmitting type liquid displaying device 2 is arranged at the front surface of an optical sensor 5, the external light from a protective glass 3 is transmitted and guided to an optical sensor 5. The device 2 has a picture element in which the 28X28 dot matrix driving can be executed, a low resolution action is executed by the 7X7 matrix in accordance with the output of decoder drivers Xa and Ya at the counting mode, and the high resolution action is executed by the 14X14 matrix in accordance with the output of decoder drivers Xb and Yb at the writing mode of the data bank. Consequently, when respective picture elements are successively made into a non-driving condition one by one in the time base way and all other picture elements are made into a driving condition, only the picture elements, which go to be a non-driving condition selectively and successively, permit the transmission of the light and at all other picture elements, the light is shielded. |
