<p>PURPOSE:To prevent surely the damage of a tape by detecting that the reproduced signal from a control track and that from an audio track have speeds lower than a determined set speed and operating a pinch roll at the timing based on the AND output of these detection signals. CONSTITUTION:An AND circuit 13 operates AND among a timer reduction detection signal, a reel rotative speed reduction detection signal 6, a CTL repro ducing reduction detection signal 9, an audio reproducing reduction detection signal 12 and outputs an AND signal 14. A system control part 15 performs the operation by the input of this AND signal 14 and outputs a control output signal 16. A pinch roll mechanism part 19 performs the operation by the input of this control output signal 16 and is set to the play mode, and a magnetic tape is run in the play mode. Thus, program material parts are protected safely even if the tape is damaged as the result of the occurrence of unexpected troubles in systems of a timer detection signal 1 and a reel rotative speed detec tion signal 4.</p> |
