PURPOSE:To stabilize a contact resistance between upper and lower substrate electrodes, and to improve the mechanical durability by using an electrode formed by a conductive high polymer, instead of a conventional metallic thin film, with respect to a mechanical force of the time of pressure with a finger, a pen, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a polyvinyl chloride film 17, U-shaped parallel grooves are formed by fabrication, and to this recessed part, polypyrole being a kind of conductive high polymer is coupled chemically by an electrochemical reaction, and it is made to have conductivity and used as an upper electrode 19. In a lower substrate 20, lower electrodes 21 are arranged in parallel in one direction, and the lower electrode 21 is a sputter vapor-diposited film of indium oxide and tin, and a stripe-shaped electrode of a desired dimension is formed thereon by etching. As for an insulation spacer 22, a UV hardening adhesive agent of an epoxy compound is used, and after a screen printing, it is hardened by irradiating an ultraviolet ray. The upper and lower substrates 16, 20 are assem bled by fixing the peripheral part with an adhesive tape 23.
