发明名称 TOOL DELIVERY DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL
摘要 PURPOSE:To change a tool in a short time by angularly swinging the tool along a circumferential locus with respect to the gripper of an ATC arm so that the V- shaped projected claw of a gripper opening engages with a V-shaped tool gripping groove in a single motion without causing any interference. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate pot 18 is provided in a space between a fixedly and tiltedly disposed tool storage magagine M and an ATC 15. A tool T is transferred from the mount and demount position 19A of a tool holder 19 to the waiting position 18a of the intermediate pot 18 by a single hand 29 while machining so that the tool T is delivered from the tilted waiting position 18a to the horizontal delivery position 14b of a twin arm 14 in a single turning motion. Thus, the distance between the waiting position 18a of the tool and the delivery position 18b of the same can be mimized, permitting a compact arrangement. In addition, since the tool is delivered from the waiting position 18b of a delivery unit to the delivery position 18b in a single turning motion in a short time, a change of the tool from the magagine M to the ATC 15 is executed in a short time with a result of a substantial reduction in a non- machining period of time.
