PURPOSE:To provide the title adhesive compsn. which can be activated at a low temp. and has a high bonding strength, prepared by dissolving a blocked isocyanate obtained by interaction of an isocyanate having at least two NCO groups and a masking agent and a soluble polyester in an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A blocked isocyanate is prepared by reacting an isocyanate having at least two NCO groups (e.g. 4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate or tolylene diisocyanate) with a masking agent selected from among phenol, oxime, lactam and active methylene compd. The adhesive compsn. is obtained by dissolv ing the blocked isocyanate and a soluble polyester (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) in an organic solvent. the adhesive compsn. has sufficiently high adhesive strength even at an activation temp. of below 200 deg.C. |
