PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of insertion depth of a tool, by providing, in a tool holder body, a tool stopper which moves back and forth in association with the forward and backward movement of an adjusting bolt attached to the outer wall of the holder. CONSTITUTION:The fastening of a tool 32 by a stopper screw 28 is loosened to allow the tool 32 to be axially moved, and further, by screwing an adjusting bolt 44 in, the bottom surface 54 is pressed by a conical surface 46 to push out a slider 50 from a small diameter hole 20 and as well to push out the tool 32 from an insertion hole 18. On the contrary by screwing the adjusting bolt 44 out, it is retacted from a bottomed hole 52 so that a slider 50 is retracted inward by means of a spring 64 to allow the tool 32 to be deeply inserted into the holder. With this arrangement, the adjustment of insertion depth of the tool 32 may be simply made in a short time. |
